As we continue to work together to flatten the Coronavirus curve it's important to remember to take care of yourself. Eating well, exercising, and taking care of your teeth and gums are especially important now that our regular routines have been interupted. Be sure to brush and floss every day.
MAKE FLOSSING A HABIT: Flossing removes food particles and plaque from the areas where you toothbrush can't reach. Keep Flossing Your Teeth Even If You’re Worried About the Coronavirus. Flossing every day will help keep your teeth strong and healthy until your next dental visit.
Gum disease or periodontal disease begins with bacterial growth in your mouth and if not properly treated may end with tooth loss due to destruction of the tissue that surrounds your teeth. Gingivitis (gum inflammation) usually precedes periodontitis (gum disease).
